Lesotho Revisited
This is the looking down the mountain we were stuck on on the way to Semonkong for the donkey crawl. You can see the road we had just driven up looping down the mountain behind the little girl.

The temporary donkey parking lot at one stop.

TJ attempted to eat a chicken foot. I don't think he made much progress. He's also holding a cup of home brew that cost a whopping 40 cents. It was served in a snuff cup.

A local who came to watch the commotion us westerners were making. A lot of people out in the mountain villages wore these hats.

On the crawl!

Andrew loves his donkey

We were dancing up a storm at the last bar. This is Casey, Sesani, Kehinde, and Andrew (all participants in the Donkey Crawl). Us foreigners learned some traditional Basotho dancing, and the locals were keen to pick up a few of our dance moves. I'm hoping they didn't learn the "Shopping Cart" dance move I busted out! The boys in the background were so excited to pick songs on the jukebox. I would pull out a 1 Rand coin, and within seconds they'd pull me over to pick out a new song.

Me and Kickapoo Too at the end of the crawl. He was such a trusty donkey. Very loyal.

Andrew, Jirka, and I made the hour or so walk to Maletsunyane Falls the morning we left. The walk took us through a little village. It was a beautiful walk, and Andrew and I were sad to rush out of Semonkong.

Your donkey looks nice, but not as good as Eeyore. Gordon says hi, by the way.
